Dr. Soura sekhar saha, a renowned orthopaedic surgeon in the Department of Foot & Ankle surgery, at Manipal Hospitals in Salt lake, Kolkata, brings over a decade of extensive experience and expertise in the field. He is a scholar throughout his educational career. He passed his MBBS from the prestigious N.R.S medical college with honours followed by MS in Orthopaedic surgery as institute topper, from the reputed R G Kar Medical college, Kolkata. Dr Saha has a passion for providing comprehensive patient care. He specialises in sports injuries, foot deformity correction, diabetic foot, limb salvage surgeries, ligament reconstruction, keyhole surgeries of joints (arthroscopic procedures) and joint replacement surgeries.
Dr Saha is a national faculty of Indian Foot & ankle society since 2021. He is a state faculty of West Bengal Orthopaedic association and had conducted numerous dedicated foot & ankle courses. Moreover, Dr Saha is the current nationally elected ECM of the Indian Foot & Ankle Society.
He has completed the prestigious BRITISH ORTHOPAEDIC FOOT & ANKLE SOCIETY (BOFAS) MASTERS COURSE; AO Basic, Advanced & Masters course; the prestigious Step to walk- deformity correction course.
He has worked with numerous stalwarts of the field from the USA, the UK, Australia, Singapore.
Furthermore, Dr. Saha is a constant figure in Foot & Ankle academics as evident from his numerous
publications in reputed international journals. He routinely participates as faculty in National as well as State conferences. Fluent in English, Bengali, and Hindi, Dr. Mandal ensures effective communication with his patients, fostering trust and understanding in all interactions. His unwavering dedication to patient care, coupled with his clinical expertise and commitment to academic excellence, makes him a leading specialist in the state.
