Plantar Fasciitis (Heel Pain)

One of the most common causes of heel pain, Plantar Fasciitis involves inflammation of the thick band of tissue connecting the heel to the toes.

  • Overuse due to walking, running, or prolonged standing

  • Obesity or flat feet

  • Inappropriate footwear

  • Sharp, stabbing heel pain especially after waking up

  • Pain increases after prolonged standing

  • Tenderness at the heel base
